  3. Hello Marti! This is a great lesson plan! I learned so much about Benjamin Franklin just reading through your lesson plan. The bifocals? Who knew? First of all, I love the "book walk" focus. I used this several times in my classroom and the students loved it. I feel that it really gets them thinking about what they are going to learn that day. As I looked further in your lesson plan, I saw that you are incorporating google docs. Wow! Google Docs are amazing and I use them myself all the time. This lesson plan is a great fit for them. Also, you have some great HOTS questions throughout your lesson. I especially like the question, "Bejamin Franklin invented the lightning rod. How is this useful today?" I know you said that this lesson plan took way longer then planned but that is okay. I tell my students all the time "Great work comes from taking your time" and I am sure that is what happened.. Great work. You are going to make an amazing teacher!
